This is JOCID

JOCID aims at developing up-to-date journalism training in Finland, Ghana, Namibia and Tanzania. The journalism training institutions have an important role in training future journalists, who are aware of their social functions and responsibility.

The Finnish and African partner institutions aim at developing curricula, pedagogic methods and learning materials. JOCID includes intensive courses, student and teacher exchanges and network meetings. Special emphasis is put on easily accessible media technology and participatory approaches in journalism.
